Uni Background (feel free to edit or change any of this: I just work better with a full context in my head)

Sara Bellum University was formed in 1948 under the name of Institute for Expanded Education by a small group of philanthropists and academics who were dedicated to offering low cost education to Australians regardless of sex.

One of these philanthropists was a war widow by the name of Sara Florence Bellum, an extraordinary woman who had worked for 4 years as a plan manager during the war, only to, in her eyes, lose that position to a less experienced veteran after the end of hostilities. Mrs. Bellum bequeathed a large sum of monies earned from her husband's pension to the Institute and sat on it's board until her death in 1962, continually fighting for the rights of women to equal education. In 1965 the board of directors voted to change the name of the Institute to Sara Bellum University in her honour.
